Overview
The FRAMES Importer is a Google Sheets add-on created by Flux + Form LLC to simplify the import and formatting of Shot Card data used in Flux+Form’s Marketing AI Empowerment Workshop (MAIEW) curriculum.
It allows users to upload structured JSON or CSV files and automatically map each field into the FRAMES + Motion template columns used for visual production planning.
The tool was built to help creative teams and students move faster from idea → Shot Card → Prompt → Asset, without manual re-entry or copy-paste errors.
How It Works

The user opens the Google Sheet containing their FRAMES template.

The add-on requests permission to read and write within that Sheet.

The importer parses local JSON or CSV data and writes the content into the active Sheet cells under predefined column headers.

No data is transmitted outside the user’s Google account; all operations occur entirely within Google Sheets.
Data Access and Storage

The FRAMES Importer reads the contents of the user’s active Google Sheet and writes formatted Shot Card data back into the same Sheet.

The add-on does not transmit, collect, or store any user information, prompts, or creative assets on external servers.

Flux + Form LLC has no access to user data or account credentials.

All data remains under the control of the Google Workspace user who authorizes the add-on.

No data is shared with third parties, used for analytics, or retained beyond the user’s session.
Permissions Requested
The importer uses the minimum necessary scopes to operate:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets– to read/write cells in the active Sheet. -
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file– to open or save Sheets created by the user.
No sensitive or restricted scopes (such as Gmail, Calendar, or Drive full access) are used.
AI and Model Training Disclosure
This add-on does not train, fine-tune, or contribute data to any AI/ML models.
It performs deterministic data formatting only and contains no generative functionality.
Security and User Control
All activity occurs inside the authenticated Google Sheets environment under Google’s own security and encryption standards.
Users may revoke access at any time via Google Account > Security > Third-Party Access.
